Andreja Pejic is an Australian model who gained international recognition for being one of the few models to successfully work as both a male and female model. Born in Bosnia, Pejic moved to Australia at the age of 8 to escape the Bosnian War. She began her modeling career at the age of 16 and has since made a name for herself in the fashion industry. She was the first transgender model to be featured in an editorial for Vogue magazine and has been honored with numerous awards for her work in the fashion industry.
